Three people have died after being involved in a wrong-way crash on the 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga, according to a news report.
The California Highway Patrol said that a vehicle was traveling west on the eastbound 210 freeway near Day Creek Boulevard when it crashed head-on into another vehicle traveling in the carpool lane. Three people, including the driver of the wrong-way vehicle — Mack Jaramillo, 28, of La Habra — died at the scene.
The other two people killed in the crash were Falguni Shah, 38, of Fontana, and Veena Shah, 52, of London, England. The two victims were passengers in the other vehicle that was hit by Jaramillo’s vehicle. In addition, two other people suffered severe injuries in the crash.
