Four people – three children and one adult – were hospitalized after suffering an allergic reaction while playing at Fullerton’s Olive Park, according to a news report.
Fullerton Fire Department officials said that a hazardous materials crew was dispatched to the park located at 901 S. Gilbert St. near Olive Avenue to determine the cause of the allergic reaction. The HAZMAT crew took swab samples from the surface of the playground equipment and also investigated a home on the 1100 block of South Pine Drive in an effort to determine where the incident originated.
All four people were taken to a local hospital for observation.
