It was broad daylight at 11am on a Friday morning when William Davis allegedly turned down Woodbury Road in Garden Grove, California. The commercial truck tractor Davis was driving careened off the residential street, striking several trees, a fence and thirty six year old Olga Quiroz before hitting a concrete block wall and coming to a stop. Ms. Quiroz was dragged underneath the truck from her front yard into her back yard, where the truck hit the concrete wall.
Ms. Quiroz, who had been standing in her front yard when the accident occurred, was taken to the hospital with lacerations, multiple fractures and other unspecified leg injuries. Davis was held at the accident scene by a group of bystanders until police arrived. Davis, who was uninjured in the accident, was arrested and later charged with felony DUI.
But that’s not all Davis got up to that morning. He was also linked to an earlier hit and run that took place at Euclid Avenue and Trask Street in Garden Grove. Thankfully no one was injured in the earlier accident.
