Premier Law Firm Plans Significant Renovations on Space
Callahan & Blaine, a premier litigation firm in California, announced today the firm has extended the lease term for its 32,000-square-foot offices in Orange County. The firm has been a longstanding tenant in the 10-story Class A tower at 3 Hutton Centre in Santa Ana for more than 17 years. The property is owned by San Diego-based Cypress Office Properties.
Chon Kantikovit, MCR.w, SLCR, LEED AP, a Managing Director with Cushman & Wakefield’s Irvine office who represented the tenant, said, “Callahan & Blaine was looking for ways to increase the efficiencies and workflows of its offices at this location where it has operated for nearly two decades. In order to achieve their real estate objectives, Callahan & Blaine evaluated the possibilities of relocating or renovating its current offices.
“The firm ultimately decided a renewal was the best course of action and will soon begin renovations to eliminate functionally obsolete areas such as file rooms and storage rooms due to the efficiencies of going paperless, and will replace them with a multi-purpose room and upgraded café, additional conference rooms, plus other upgrades to enhance their working environment.”
