We are thrilled to announce that our own founder and principal of Callahan & Blaine, Daniel Callahan, is joining the Segerstrom Board of Directors.
Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa appointed four members to its board this week to serve three-year terms, which included Mr. Callahan. Serving alongside Callahan are Mark Chan, chief operating officer of The Wincome Group; Wendy Hales, executive director of The Argyros Family Foundation, and John Phelan, formerly with The Capital Group. The Segerstrom Board of Directors consists of 44 members,
“Each director contributes unique talents and wisdom in support of the center’s ambitious institutional goals,” board chairman Mark Perry said in a statement. “As we continue to enhance the quality of our artistic programming and initiatives responding to an ever-changing community, we welcome the new ideas and enthusiasm that Wendy, Dan, Mark and John bring.”
Segerstrom Center for the Arts believes in the power of performing arts to transform lives and that the shared experience and exploration of the arts will help unite Orange County, creating a more culturally connected and vital community.
Callahan has become one of the top trial attorneys in California and was named the “OCTLA Trial Lawyer of the Year” three times. He has been named one of the top 10 attorneys in the United States by the National Law Journal and voted “California Business Trial Lawyer of the Year” by California Lawyer Magazine.
