A 20-year-old Orange County man has been arrested in connection with a Jan. 14 fatal Anaheim car accident, according to a news report.
Jose Javier Fernandez Ramirez was arrested after authorities determined that he ran a red light, causing a car crash that resulted in the death of Nicole Davenport, 23. He has been charged with vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Davenport was making a left turn on Bake Parkway on Jan. 14 when Ramirez ran a red light and collided with her 2009 Hyundai. The impact pushed her car onto the sidewalk. She was taken to Mission Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
