A 96-year-old woman has died after she was involved in a pedestrian accident in Tustin, according to a news report.
Tustin police said that Esther Edelstein was struck and killed by a pickup truck on Yorba Street, north of 17th Street, in Tustin. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pickup truck driver was not injured and stayed at the scene to talk with police. Information about whether the driver was cited in the fatal pedestrian accident was not immediately available.
