A 22-year-old Fullerton woman has been killed after being struck by a FedEx truck in Fullerton, according to a news report.
Fullerton police said that Chelsea Kashergen was riding east on Nutwood Ave. when she was hit by a FedEx truck that was making a left turn from Ladera Vista Drive onto Nutwood. Ms. Kashergen was pronounced dead at the scene; the truck driver stayed at the scene to be interviewed by investigators.
Police said the intersection does not have a marked crosswalk and they were trying to determine who had the right of way in the fatal bicycle accident.
