A head-on collision between two vehicles in Irvine closed Alton Parkway and injured three people, according to a news report.
Irvine police said that a Toyota sedan and a Subaru station wagon were involved in a head-on collision on Alton Parkway near Technology Drive. Both drivers and a passenger in the Toyota sedan were taken to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said that it was not immediately clear which vehicle had the right of way; the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
