A 50-year-old Huntington Beach woman has been seriously injured in a pedestrian accident, according to a news report.
The Huntington Beach police said that the unidentified victim was found in the roadway near Beach Boulevard and Ellis Avenue; she was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange with serious injuries. The woman was apparently struck by the driver of a 1999 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck driven by a 70-year-old Huntington Beach man who was travelling north on Beach Blvd. when he hit the victim.
Police said that no arrests or citations were made; the pedestrian accident remains under investigation.
