A 43-year-old Long Beach woman has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident, according to a news report.
Long Beach police said that Sandra Davis was walking across South Street when she was hit by a small, light tan or beige sedan similar to a Nissan Altima. Witnesses told police that the car braked, but then kept driving. Long Beach Fire Dept. paramedics took Davis to a local hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
Investigators are asking witnesses to the pedestrian hit-and-run accident to contact Detective Richard Birdsall at 562-570-7355.
