One woman has been killed and two people were hospitalized after a two-car crash that cut one of the vehicles in half in Los Alamitos, according to a news report.
Los Alamitos police said that Pamela McKeon, 63, of Cypress, was driving a Subaru SUV that collided head-on with a Nissan on Los Alamitos Boulevard near Cerritos Avenue. She later died at a local trauma center. A passenger in her SUV and the driver of the Nissan were injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
