Lourdes Ferrerya, 49, of Buena Park, has died after the car she was riding in struck a tree in Westminster, according to a news report.
Westminster police said that Ferrerya was a passenger in a vehicle that hit a tree at Bolsa Avenue and East Drive. She was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she died several hours following the crash.
Two other people were also injured in the one-vehicle crash; their conditions are currently unknown. The fatal car accident is being investigated by Westminster police.
