An unidentified man has been killed after he was hit by a car while crossing a street in Santa Ana.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the victim was in the crosswalk walking east across Bristol Street at First Street when he was hit by a car traveling north on Bristol. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene; police said they do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in the fatal pedestrian accident. The investigation is ongoing.
