A man estimated to be in his 60s was trapped in his Jeep when it overturned on a connector ramp to the southbound I-5, according to a news report.
The California Highway Patrol said that witnesses reported that a green Jeep collided with a big-rig truck on the eastbound 22 connector ramp to the southbound I-5 before rolling over and trapping the driver upside down in the vehicle. Several motorists stopped to render aid, and the man was cut from his seatbelt and pulled out of the Jeep.
Rescue workers said the man was breathing but unconscious after being pulled from the wreckage, and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
