A 55-year-old Mission Viejo man has died after being involved in a Newport Beach motorcycle accident, according to a news report.
Newport Beach police said that Dwight Dene Palmer was pronounced dead at the scene after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in the westbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway near Reef Point Drive in Newport Beach. The collision shut down both lanes of Coast Highway for several hours.
The cause of the fatal motorcycle collision is still under investigation.
