An unidentified man has been killed in a collision on I-605 that involved three vehicles, according to a news report.
The California Highway Patrol said that the collision occurred just north of the Katella Avenue off-ramp in the northbound lanes of I-605 and involved a white truck and two sedans. Two of the vehicles wound up on the left shoulder of the freeway and the third vehicle was on fire in the traffic lanes when officers arrived at the scene.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene; it was unclear if there were any other injuries in the fatal collision.
