An unidentified woman has been hospitalized after being ejected from a vehicle involved in a Huntington Beach car accident, according to a news report.
Huntington Beach police said that the woman was a passenger in car speeding north on Beach Boulevard. The male driver lost control of the car after he swerved to avoid a vehicle in front of him, and crashed into a telephone utility box and a power pole.
The woman was ejected from the car and was taken to UCI Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. The male driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said they do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the injury accident; the investigation is ongoing.
