Two women, both of Lakewood, have died after being involved in a La Palma car accident, according to a news report.
La Palma police said that Rosemarie Medallo, 47, and Bernardina Lee, 81, were involved in a two-car crash at the intersection of La Palma Avenue and Walker Street. Medallo was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Lee was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
The investigation into the fatal accident is ongoing.
