A five-car crash on the southbound I-405 in Santa Ana shut down two right lanes for almost an hour and possibly injured a pregnant woman, according to a news report.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident involved a Dodge Stratus, Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla, Honda Pilot and a Nissan Sentra. Initial reports on the multi-car accident said that a pregnant woman may have been in one of the vehicles.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene of the crash, but it was not known how many people were injured.
