Two women have been hospitalized with critical injuries following a car accident in Orange, according to a news report.
The Orange County Fire Authority said that a Honda Civic collided with a Toyota 4Runner at the intersection of Batavia Street and Acacia Avenue. The driver of the Civic was able to crawl from the car, but rescue workers had to use the Jaws of Life to extract a passenger from the Civic. Both women were taken to a local hospital with traumatic injuries.
The driver of the 4Runner was examined by paramedics at the scene and released. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
