A 31-year-old Westminster man has been identified as the victim of a collision with a big-rig on I-405 in Seal Beach, according to a news report.
The California Highway Patrol said that Donald Directo III was driving a 2001 Ford F150 pickup truck when he collided with a Freightliner big-rig on the southbound 405 just south of Seal Beach Boulevard. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
CHP investigators believe speed may have been a factor in the fatal big-rig crash; the investigation is ongoing.
