An unidentified woman has died after being hit by a car in a Los Alamitos pedestrian accident.
According to the Los Alamitos Police Department, the victim was found with severe injuries in the intersection of Ball Road and Bloomfield Street. Emergency responders transported her to a local hospital, but she died enroute.
The driver of the car involved in the accident stayed at the scene. Police said they do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in the fatal pedestrian crash. An investigation into the incident is underway.
