Five people have been injured in a wrong-way crash on Orangewood Avenue just east of the 57 Freeway in Orange, according to the Orange Fire Department.
Officials said that a vehicle driving the wrong direction on Orangewood Avenue cut across several lanes and hit another vehicle that was traveling east on Orangewood. A total of five people were injured and taken to UCI Medical Center and Orange County Global Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
An investigation into the wrong-way accident is ongoing.
