While Memorial Day weekend is a time of festivities, it’s also a time when accidents and injuries happen. In the early hours of Saturday morning on May 25, one person was airlifted to UCI Medical Center and another was taken to a hospital by ambulance after an ATV crash in Yorba Linda.
Capt. Alan Wilkes said Orange County Fire Authority sent crews to Blue Gum and Rimcrest drives at 2:40 a.m. and found two people injured, one severely.
That victim was treated as a trauma patient and rushed by air to UCI Medical Center, Wilkes said.
Information about their conditions was not available, but we will continue to update this post as news comes in.
