A four-car crash on the State Route 405 freeway traveling south left one person injured on Thursday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The status of the person injured in the multi-vehicle accident is not currently known.
The crash was reported at 12:12 p.m. in Costa Mesa near Fairview Road, and resulted in several lanes on the freeway being temporarily blocked, authorities said.
