Two women and two children were injured when a vehicle crashed into a chicken restaurant in Anaheim on the afternoon of May 22.
At 1 p.m., police responded to the car crash at a shopping center on Lincoln Avenue near Empire Street. The vehicle did not strike anyone but hit a glass window that shattered, injuring people inside.
The driver, who was unlicensed, confused the gas pedal and brake as he pulled into a parking stall.
Video of the car accident showed that the man pulled into the parking stall at a slow speed but then accelerated instead of stopping to park.
The driver was cooperative with police and was not determined to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Investigations into the car crash are still underway.
