Costa Mesa police said that the multi-car collision occurred near the intersection of Bristol Street and Sunflower Avenue and involved at least four vehicles. Five people from those vehicles were transported to local hospitals with unspecified injuries.
Costa Mesa police are currently investigating the cause of the injury accident.
