A 61-year-old Anaheim man has died from injuries he sustained in a Santa Ana motorcycle crash, according to a news report.
Santa Ana police said that Dennis Zafran was found lying in the street near the MacArthur and Harbor Boulevards intersection. Investigators said they believe Zafran had to change lanes abruptly to avoid a car that had stopped suddenly, and was thrown from his motorcycle when he laid it down to avoid the stopped vehicle.
Zafran underwent surgery at UCI Medical Center in Orange for multiple broken bones and internal injuries, and died several days later from medical complications.
