A 19-year-old Brea man has died after being struck by a Honda Civic in a Garden Grove pedestrian accident, according to a news report.
Garden Grove police said that Mardoqueo Davila was crossing the street near the intersection of Haster Street and Chapman Avenue when he was hit by a Honda Civic. Davila was taken to UCI Medical Center where he died several hours later.
The unidentified driver of the Honda Civic did not appear to be impaired at the time of the fatal pedestrian accident; an investigation is ongoing.
