Ashley McAdam suffered head trauma as well as a broken jaw, elbow and thighbone. She was a passenger in a friend’s car that was hit by a truck as it pulled into Herriman High School just outside Salt Lake City, Utah. She has been in a coma and unresponsive since the accident occurred on Dec. 16.
Cordova, who now lives in Las Vegas, has been by his daughter’s side since the accident, according to the Associated Press. “They’re hoping she’ll come back 100 percent, but there’s no way to tell what her brain is going to do,” Cordova said. “There’s no magic shot. There’s no surgery to help. Only time can tell.”
