The driver of a Nissan Infiniti M35 sedan has been arrested on suspicion of DUI after his car crashed onto the tops of two other vehicles in Costa Mesa, according to a news report.
Costa Mesa police said that Matthew Farnsworth, 39, of Calabasas, was reportedly weaving in and out of traffic on southbound Harbor Boulevard when his Infiniti sedan hit the median and landed on top of a Toyota Tundra and a Hyundai Elantra in the northbound lanes of Harbor Boulevard.
The Tundra driver — a 44-year-old male — was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange with wrist injuries. The Elantra driver — a 36-year-old Huntington Beach woman — and Farnsworth were taken to Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana for treatment of their unspecified injuries.
Following his release from the hospital, Farnsworth was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
