The driver of a Toyota Camry that had stalled on the 91 freeway in Corona was killed when his car was struck from behind.
According to police, the fatal car crash occurred around 10 p.m. on the westbound side west of Green River Road near the Orange County border. The Camry became disabled in the left lane and caught fire when it was struck by a Toyota Highlander from behind.
The driver of the Camry, who was the only one in the car, tragically died. That person’s name has not been publicly announced.
The driver and passenger in the Highlander were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
