A woman was tragically struck and killed by a car in a Huntington Beach intersection on Monday, January 24.
First responders arrived at the scene of the fatal accident at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Yorktown Avenue at approximately 6:20 p.m. Reportedly, they discovered a female pedestrian who had been struck by a white Chevrolet Silverado. Tragically, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Silverado, a 58-year old man from Garden Grove, remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. According to police, it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision.
