Three people have been injured in a Jurupa Valley car accident where one of the vehicles caught fire, spreading flames to nearby vegetation.
According to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, the two-vehicle crash happened on Mission Boulevard at the Van Buren on-ramp to the 60 freeway. Two people were hospitalized — one with moderate injuries and the other with minor injuries. The third injured person was treated at the scene and released.
Following the crash, one of the vehicles caught on fire and flames spread to nearby vegetation. The brush fire was quickly contained by firefighters.
