A 23-year-old Marine has been arrested on suspicion of felony DUI after he struck a number of parked vehicles and injured five pedestrians in San Clemente, according to a news report.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department said that Julio Lopez was driving north on North El Camino Real in San Clemente when his vehicle struck a parked car, which then struck another parked vehicle, ultimately damaging a total of five vehicles and injuring five pedestrians. Lopez was also injured in the accident.
Lopez was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence and was booked into the Santa Ana jail.
