The driver of a pick-up truck has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run Huntington Beach pedestrian accident that sent one person to the hospital in critical condition, according to a news report.
Huntington Beach police say that the pedestrian was hit at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Chrysler Drive, and is hospitalized in critical but stable condition. Witnesses say a pick-up truck hit the pedestrian and failed to stop.
Police later found the truck near the scene of the accident and pulled the driver over. The driver was arrested, but police declined to release his identity.
