Twenty-three-year-old Norman David Martin of Irvine was arrested Tuesday on second-degree murder charges in connection with crashing his Corvette in Irvine last year resulting in the death of his two passengers.
Martin was being held on $2 million bail when he was charged with two counts of second-degree murder.
Prosecutors allege that Martin was driving his Corvette at 138 mph when he went through a red light and struck the crown of the intersection sending the vehicle flying into nearby trees.
