Sixty-seven-year-old John Story has been identified as the bicyclist who was tragically struck and killed by a vehicle in Santa Ana.
Story suffered the fatal bicycle crash at approximately 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18 at the intersection of Bristol Street and Edinger Avenue.
According to police, it appeared that Story was southbound on Bristol Street, and the vehicle was eastbound on Edinger Avenue.
Paramedics rushed Story to a hospital, where he tragically died from his injuries.
Police stated that the vehicle’s driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
