A tragic traffic fatality occurred in La Habra on Monday afternoon, Aug. 2, after motorcyclist, Dustin Tinoco, crashed with a car that also left a pedestrian injured.
According to police, the fatal motorcycle crash happened shortly after 4:40 p.m. at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Sheffield Drive. Debris from the crash struck a nearby pedestrian, however, they were not seriously hurt.
Responding officers provided aid to the injured motorcyclist while the driver of the other involved car was not hurt.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel rendered the motorcyclist aid and took him to a nearby hospital, where he was tragically pronounced dead. He was identified by police Tuesday as Dustin Tinoco, 21, of Whittier.
Southbound Beach Boulevard was temporarily closed at Lambert Road for the investigation, police said.
The cause of the motorcycle crash is currently under investigation.
