Early Thursday, Dec. 13, in La Habra, Calif. was the scene of a fatal crash between a truck and a street sweeper on Imperial Highway east of Idaho Street.
It was just after 2 a.m. when officers arrived to find a Toyota pickup with a severely damaged front end. The driver of the truck was found inside the vehicle and pronounced dead.
The driver of the street sweeper was uninjured and stayed to cooperate with officers.
The name of the driver killed in the accident has not been released pending the notification of his relatives.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash as drugs and alcohol did not appear to have been a factor.
