An unidentified bicyclist has been killed after being hit by a vehicle in Huntington Beach, according to a news report.
Huntington Beach police said that a vehicle traveling east on Warner Avenue near Pinehurst Lane swerved from the road into the bike lane and hit the bicyclist from behind. The bicyclist sustained critical injuries and was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
Investigators said they do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved in the bicycle accident; the investigation is ongoing.
