An unidentified man sustained serious injuries after he was thrown from his vehicle in a Placentia SUV crash, according to a news report.
Placentia police said that a Chevrolet Tahoe traveling east on Kimberly Avenue collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla that was preparing to make a left turn onto Placentia Avenue. The man in the Tahoe was taken to the hospital in grave condition. Two people in the Toyota Corolla were also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said it was unclear if alcohol played a role in the crash; the investigation is ongoing.
