Matthew Santana, 24, was killed and a woman severely injured after the Ford Mustang Santana was driving hit a curb on Tustin Avenue in Orange and flipped.
According to police, the fatal car crash occurred at approximately 12:35 p.m. Saturday, January 29. Witnesses said the Mustang was traveling north when the vehicle lost control and crashed into the curb.
Santana, of La Mirada, was tragically declared dead at the scene of the crash.
The woman, a passenger, was transported to a hospital with major injuries.
Police are currently investigating the cause of the deadly crash and whether drugs or alcohol may have been a factor.
