Two people were injured following a crash in Mission Viejo that involved two vehicles and an Orange County Transportation Authority bus.
According to police, the dramatic traffic accident occurred on Monday morning, Dec. 20, at around 8:40 a.m. near Alicia Parkway and Jeronimo Road. An SUV flipped upside down on the center median as a result of the impact. The two people who were injured were from the passenger vehicles and at least one person was hospitalized.
Police report that there were few passengers on the public transport vehicle, none of whom sustained any injuries in the bus accident. The bus was stopped at the time of the crash.
It was not yet known what led up to the crash. According to police, speed may have been a factor.
