A motorcyclist died in Huntington Beach after he struck a crash with an SUV in a shopping center on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 22.
At 4:22 p.m. the Huntington Beach Police Department was notified of a crash between an RAV-4 and a Harley Davidson motorcycle along Beach Boulevard near Adams Avenue. First responders located the motorcyclist and tragically pronounced him dead at the scene.
While the man killed in the motorcycle accident has not yet been identified, police did say that he was 54-years-old and from Stanton.
The SUV overturned after the crash and the 90-year-old driver was rushed to a local hospital. Information on the driver’s condition was not immediately available.
Investigators believe the motorcyclist was headed north on Beach Boulevard, north of Adams Avenue, when the SUV was headed south on Beach Boulevard and attempted to make a left into the Newland Shopping Center.
