One person was killed and another injured Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway.
Police report that the fatal car crash occurred about 5:25 a.m. in East L.A. on the northbound freeway at the transition road to the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway. The California Highway Patrol reported that the deadly multi-vehicle accident began with a sedan striking the center divider which led to a total of at least four other vehicles being involved.
The person who died was sadly pronounced dead at the scene of the fatal accident by first responders.
