Desiree Robles was tragically struck and killed by an SUV while crossing Katella Avenue in the Anaheim-Stanton area on Sunday, March 21.
The victim, 31-year-old Desiree Robles, was crossing Katella outside of a crosswalk at around 1:30 a.m. when the SUV headed eastbound hit her.
Anaheim police, Sheriff’s deputies and Orange County fire paramedics rushed to the scene of the pedestrian accident but tragically found Robles was already dead.
The driver, who was not immediately identified, stayed at the scene, but she was arrested on suspicion of DUI in connection with the fatal crash.
