An Anaheim police sergeant was injured when his motorcycle was struck by a car that turned in front of him, according to a news report.
Anaheim police reported that the officer was riding his motorcycle north on Harbor Boulevard and was entering the intersection at Lincoln Boulevard on a green light when a woman driving a 2004 Chevrolet Impala turned left in front of him. The sergeant, who was not identified, was taken to a local trauma center for treatment of his injuries.
The 21-year-old female driver remained at the scene, and has not yet been cited pending the outcome of the investigation.
