The driver of a white SUV is being sought by authorities after fatally striking a motorcyclist on the 5 Freeway in Laguna Hills and fleeing the scene.
According to police, the fatal motorcycle crash happened Thursday, Feb. 10, at 7:38 a.m. southbound on the freeway, north of La Paz Road. A motorcycle driven by a 31-year-old man was struck by the SUV and the SUV fled the scene without stopping.
No identifying information was immediately available for the motorcyclist.
Police stated that the SUV is believed to have crash damage to its right side. The driver is being sought on suspicion of vehicular homicide.
